ColdFusion 2016 - Logs not updated

Hi Team, 

Can you please provide some guidance as to what we could look for or do in order to resolve the following issues? We are currently using ColdFusion 2016.  

•          We are seeing issues where the application and exception log files are not getting updated when errors occur on the applications.
•          We also see that the mailsent log files are not getting updated when emails are sent from the application.
