Coldfusion 2021 CentOS8 Stream Support (CentOS is Ending)
In case you hadn't heard, CentOS in it's current form is going early EOL in Dec 2021. This is a tough blow to sysadmins that need an Enterprise class linux distro, but don't have the budget to license every server with RHEL.
What path does Adobe Coldfusion plan to take? Will they support the new "CentOS Stream" OS, which is a sort of "staging" release seated between Fedora and RHEL. Or will Coldfusion simply drop CentOS support completely. Will Oracle Linux be officially supported instead? It is another free of cost 100% binary compatible RHEL clone, similar to what CentOS was. Just curious what path CF plans to take, that way we can plan our new buildout properly.
Thanks,
