Coldfusion 2023 license invalid on Disaster Recovery mirror VM

We run a mirror site for disaster recovery, but when I tried to test my Coldfusion server, it would not start the service.  I started manually and it was complaining about the cached license being invalid and then it tried to connect Adobe (which it can't do because of firewalls).  Anyway, I was wondering what impacts that Device ID because I see that they are different and I think that is related to why my license is considered invalid.

I would suggest you contact the Adobe team: cfinstal[at]adobe.com

I have and after going back and forth several times with support, he finally agreed to consult the development team.  I don't have a lot of confidence he will get back to me.  Just wondering if anyone else has hit this issue.  We never had a problem with Coldfusion 2018.  The mac ID is the same between both servers so it is something else.

I am confused. One of your posts mentions a change of device ID. The other mentions same device ID. They can't both be relevant.

In any case, have faith and contact Adobe again. But be aware that ColdFusion 2018 is too old, and is no longer supported . So you're basically relying on their goodwill.

If I were you, I would send them an email containing a full description of the issue. I would then ask them for suggestions.
