ColdFusion 4.0 and Windows 2003 server

Greetings,

I'm a newbie to coldfusion so please excuse the ignorance. I have a ColdFusion 4.0 applications sitting on a win2k that need move to a win2003 servers. Does 4.0 run on win 2003 and can be installed on it? The application is going to be retired (famous last words) and no new develpment is planned for it so an upgrade doesn't make sense ($$) at this time.

    I have run 4.5 successfully on Win2k3 servers. I haven't even tried 4.0 on those servers, so I cannot comment on that version.

    Specifically how did you upgarde?
    1.) Windows OS on the same box?
    2.) HW, Re-installed, OS, LAYER PRODUCTS, and some how reload you coldfusion configuration?
    3.) Something other? (if so could you explain)

    The combination is not supported. I'm in the same boat with 4.5. Folks have mentioned some success, but I wouldn't trust running a production app in this configuration.
