Coldfusion 9 Standard Trial Download somewhere available?

Hi there,

As far as I can see, Adobe offers a trial download for CF9 only in the enterprise or the developer edition, can someone validate this? This is what they write on the trial download page:

In the list below, you will find download options for Adobe  ColdFusion 9 which is available as Developer Edition and Trial Edition.

The Developer Edition is a free, fully functional version of Adobe  ColdFusion for the local development of applications that are intended  to be deployed on either Adobe ColdFusion Standard or Adobe ColdFusion  Enterprise servers. Access to applications running on a Developer  Edition server is limited to two client machines.

The Trial Edition is fully functional and intended for simulated  production and evaluation purposes only. It contains all of the  Enterprise Edition features and will timeout after 30 days from the time  you install the product. After the timeout period, the Trial Edition  will revert to the Developer Edition.

My problem: I just wanted to do a test drive with the standard edition and if it works fine I would buy an upgrade and add the serial number in the configuration.

    There is no difference in the actual download, the restrictions are all effected by what type of licence key you use.

    So for your testing, you just need to be mindful of what limitations Standard has cf Dev or Enterprise.

    Hi Adam,

    Thanks for your reply, in this case I can download whatever CF9 package and install it as enterprise trial or developer edition and as soon as I enter the standard license key, it becomes a standard version?
