Coldfusion administrator user access restriction verityk2server error

I'm having a problem with the coldfsuion adminstrator in cf9.  We are trying to set up usernames / passwords with restricted access instead of using one single admin account.

However, if we create a user and restrict access to say logging only, we get a coldfusion error on the left side where the menu list normally appears.  It says "Element verityk2server is undefined in a CFML structure referenced as part of an expression." The only way we have found to prevent this error is to also give access to Data Sources.

However that kind of defeates the purpose of restricting access if we have to give access to the Datasources section as well.

Anyone know a way around this error?
