ColdFusion and docx4j

I've been looking into creating "native" Word documents via CF10, and it looks like the best (free) option is docx4j. However, I can't seem to find many CF and docx4j examples. Does anyone here have experience using docx4j and ColdFusion that can point me in the right direction?
