Coldfusion and Oracle 12c

I am using coldfusion 8 with macromedia oracle driver 10g on RHEL.

I wanted to know if Oracle 12c driver will be compatible and what is the best way to upgrade it ?

Support for 12c is only available in Coldfusion 11 I believe. You are not going to get it working with CF 8 I am afraid.
