ColdFusion/BlazeDS/LiveCycle

I've been away from ColdFusion for about 4 years, working with Flex. I'm getting ready to start a project with Flex that needs data push and some of the enterprise level middleware between the Flex front end, my DB, and my users.

Here is where I'm struggling:

From what I've read, ColdFusion 9 has data push using LiveCycleES, but I can also integrate BlazeDS with ColdFusion.

What is gained by using BlazeDS with ColdFusion? Doesn't LiveCycleES, included with ColdFusion, go beyond BlazeDS, or is this only true if I have an Enterprise ColdFusion license?

What is the difference between ColdFusion and BlazeDS when it comes to data push? What other considerations are there between these two?
