ColdFusion Builder (2018 release) and (2016 release) on macOS Big Sur

Note: ColdFusion does not support Big Sur. Before upgrading the OS, check the support matrix.

Adobe ColdFusion Builder (2018 release)  and ColdFusion Builder (2016 release) are NOT COMPATIBLE with Big Sur.

If you launch ColdFusion Builder on macOS Big Sur (macOS 11), it behaves unexpectedly and produces exceptions.

We are working on making ColdFusion Builder to be compatible with Big Sur.

Meanwhile, you can review the current system requirements for ColdFusion Builder.

Thanks for the clarification on this, but it seems also to be impacting people running CF (not just CFBuilder). Can you confirm that you all are aware of that?

Also, I've noticed that most of your recent posts have been here, in the forums, rather than in the CF portal (https://coldfusion.adobe.com/blogs/). Can you help us to understand why you've been choosing this over that? Why not both, for the potentially different audiences for (and different visibility of) each? 🙂
