Question

Coldfusion hosting

I am not sure this is the appropriate spot to post this, (if at all), however, I am desperate. Currently I am hosting a site, running on Linux and cold fusion at godaddy.com. I have many other sites with PHP. However, Cold fusion has been a nightmare from day one. Anyway, can anyone recommend a hosting service that has customer support and is reliable that runs Cold Fusion? I am doing a project for school and I have to develop the site in CF. Also, who has the most recent version (I think it is 7) of the application running.

Thank you,
Ruth

CrystalTech is the biggest CF host on the planet right now and they just moved into a huge state-of-the-art hosting complex.

If you sign up before the end of July, you also get the rest of the year's hosting for free as part of their summer event.

They have many plans available and run all the primary languages. We have both shared and dedicated clients running on them.

I use a hostingfest.com and have no problem. I'm running ColdFusion and SQL Server 2005 with no problems. They start at $1.99 per month for a small site which includes CFMX7 and gives you SQL, or MySQL 4 plus Access databases.

Good luck.

I have been using PowerSurge for several years now. I haven't compared its prices to other suppliers recently, but at least their service is good and has improved over the years. Good luck!

CrystalTech and HostMySite are both reputable, experienced CF hosts. That is not to say that there are not others.

Both will most certainly exceed your satisfaction from GoNowhereDaddy.

I use viux.com for some of my hosting - no complaints about their service, good prices and reliable.

cheers.

How about http://www.viviotech.net/hosting.cfm

They sound very cheap for both CF and BD.

No experience of using them myself but NewAtlanta's website (BD people) recommend them.
