Like ke4pym said, ColdFusion 6.1 is not supported for java 1.6. It does not run. The ability to update JVMs was to allow you to update from 1.4.2_0 to 1.4.2_16. There was never any expectation that CFMX6.1 would run with every future release of Java.

Revert to the version 1.4.2 series.

If you really want to tinker with Java 6, upgrade to ColdFusion 8. It is the only version of ColdFusion supported on Java versions greater than 1.4.2.

    do you have a link?
Than why they made a "Java and JVM Settings"-Page?
