I would highly recommend Hostek.com for hosting.

Yes,you can try using one of Adobe's Cold Fusion partners.

you can check out other website hosting companies that support coldfusion here.

Hostway Is a host That I like,Are you looking for a shared package or a Virtual Private server?

Interesting coincidence. I was looking for a way to inform Adobe that one of the companies listed on Adobe's ColdFusion Hosting Partners page does not actually support ColdFusion. I couldn't find any way to provide such feedback, so I searched the forums and found this thread, which names the same company, Hostway.

I contacted Hostway about potentially hosting a ColdFusion site, and they said they don't support ColdFusion. But they still have the web page on their site that Adobe linked to, about ColdFusion hosting. Rather misleading, to say the least.

Adobe, it would be helpful to provide some mechanism for providing feedback about your supposed partners. Please let me know if there is such a mechanism.

Whatever you do dont pick godaddy,. I currently have that hosting, its very cheap yeah, no argument about that.... but you get what you pay for. The box im currently on sometimes crashes multiple times a day. Support is mediocre. I have problems with their mail server holding emails.

Last i heard was that crystaltech was one of the best CF hosting companies. I have never tried them tho and they are like 4x more expensive than godaddy. I heard they give better support and you are able to do more in a CF panel.

I would definately try something new for 30 days, and ask for refund if you arent pleased.

I use CF Components all over my websites Hosted with CFDynamics
(Production Site) and GoDaddy (Personal Vanity and Playground sites).

I have a hard time comprehending a CF host that would NOT tolerate CF
Components contained within your own directories. I can conceive of
less stellar hosts that may not create mappings for you so you have to
use longer syntax to reference your CFCs.

Also hosts will often disable createObject() due to its capability to
create all types of objects, not just CFCs. But that is easy to work
    around by using <cfinvoke...> syntax.

What are you actually looking to resolve?

    Thanks for the input!!

Until last week I used to have some domains with a company called Bluegenesis, although they have CF hosting, they didn't permit CFCs because they claimed they were a security risk. Another host that I still currently use for some domains look.ca, they also don't allow CFC's, I never asked them why. And maybe two years ago or so, before I brought my web application in-house, I made several enquiries with the hosts that Macromedia used to list on their web site, and they didn't permit CFC's either.

Because a company wants to try an application I developed, that uses CFCs to do mostly DB stuff for a Flex / Flash app. I'm looking for a host that will allow me to host CFC files.

I will contact CFDynamics and GoDaddy

    Again thank you!!
