coldfusion website was often down

when site was down, I need to restart the web server. Other wise , the site was not going to up even restart the coldfusion services

Check if the colfusion serice is up or down in services. May be it can help you. Sometimes you need local admin rights to actually up your server.

The Coldfusion services are up and running even when site is down. Could it be due to Memory issues..? The Coldfusion Webserver is presently running on 2GB RAM space.  We have to manually restart the production box every time the site is down to bring the site up and running. Please put some light into this.

check the log files to see which request is causing troubles. Can you give more details like webserver type, CF version etc... it has something to do with Flash (you're posting in the CF/Flash section) ?!?
