Coldfusion11 taking WAY too long to boot on Docker?

Here are the details:

I have a Chef CF11 cookbook, and a site cookbook that uses it.

If I use this site cookbook on a Ubuntu VM, CF11 runs ver quickly after install.

However, if I run this site cookbook in a Docker ubuntu instance, CF11 it takes about 12 minutes to actually fully boot. I tailed the colfusion-out log (it started at 3:38 and ended at 3:50)

Any ideas?
