ColdFusion8 License Key

Question

I am in a situation where the production server running ColdFusion has went down hard and it not getting back up. I have asked around and there doesn't seem to be a licence key on file or even the original installation disk. I have a test environment that is running a valid key. I want to be able to move the coldfusion key from that server to another server. So my question how do I extract the key from the test server and use it on the production server?

The license key is displayed on the 'Information" panel in the Administrator. This is accessed by the blue circle "I" in the upper right of the administrator page.

You can change the license key from this page, but I am not sure how you remove it. I wonder what happens if you "Submit Change" with a blank license key field?
