Connection to MsSql server 2000

I tried to establish a new datasource on SQL server 2000 (personal edition)
and I have this message :

Connection verification failed for data source: Forum_SQL
java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Error establishing socket. Connection refused: connect

Does CF7 works with MsSql server 2000 personal edition ?
