Crazy Behavior After upgrading to 8.0.1. Help!

We were happily running CF 8 on our Windows 2003 box using IIS 6 and decided we should do the CF 8 Updater to 8.0.1 So we shut down CF services, updated using the updater we downloaded and after it said it successfully installed and we rebooted everything is messed up now:

1) I can get to the Cfadmin login and after logging in i just get a bunch of garbagetext and code displayed via text:
Êþº¾-` SourceFile:E:\cf8_final\cfusion\wwwroot\CFIDE\administrator\index.cfmcfindex2ecfm274406133coldfusion/runtime/CFPage()V thisLcfindex2ecfm274406133;LocalVariableTableCodebindPageVariablesD(Lcoldfusion/runtime/VariableScope;Lcoldfusion/runtime/LocalScope;)V coldfusion/runtime/CfJspPage FRMMAINTTLELcoldfusion/runtime/Variable;bindPageVariabler(Ljava/lang/String;Lcoldfusion/runtime/VariableScope;Lcoldfusion/runtime/LocalScope;)Lcoldfusion/runtime/Variable; PROTOCOL MAINTITLE" " $ FRMTOPTTLE& & ( SERVERNAME* * , FRMNAVTTLE. . 0LASTPAGECOOKIENAME2 2 4 CONTENTTARGET6 6 8REQUEST: : <GETADMINVARIANT> > @11309570 B DFORMF F HURLJ J Lcom.macromedia.SourceModTimee=K¸
etc...etc....etc...etc...

2) All my apps respond now with:
The system has attempted to use an undefined value, which usually indicates a programming error, either in your code or some system code.
Null Pointers are another name for undefined values.

Can anyone hep me figure out what went wrong?

    Stop ColdFusion service and goto WEB-INF/cfclasses and remove all the files. Restart the server and you should be able to browse to admin.

    We have a similar issue about installing the 8.0.1 Updater. Cannot get into admin.

    Hi
    Looks like updater has failed. Could you send me the Installation log found @ ColdFusion Home (Adobe_ColdFusion_8.0.1_InstallLog.log) to kvinu@adobe.com?

    If you have run the updater, the log will have updater in its name and not the one I mentioned in the previous reply.

    Hi Vinu! Thanks so much for responding, just e-mailed you 2 log files I was able to locate. Please let me know if you find out anything or what course of action I might be able to take now to get my server back.
