Question

Drop-down boxes scrolling in front of fixed table header

I have a table where the headers are fixed and in the table I have fields that are drop-down boxes.

When I scroll, the drop-down fields are scrolling in front of the fixed headers and the other fields are scrolling behind the fixed headers.  I am new to Coldfusion and am not sure if there is a simple solution to this fix.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

So there isn't a way to have a table with a fixed header in Coldfusion and have drop-down boxes in that table?

"In ColdFusion" is a meaningless clause in your sentance.

ColdFusion has nothing to do with your problem.

Your problem is a bug in a browser and how it is rendering the HTML it is receiving.  Threre are hacks and fixes you can atempt to change the HTML you are sending to the browser that may solve your problem.

When working with the distributed nature of web applications it is important to understand what job each layer has and what technologies are involved.

Your question is somewhat equivalent to this bad automobile analogy.  So there isn't a way to fix my breaks in the hemi engine.

That's ok, this probably has nothing to do with ColdFusion.  It sounds like you are describing a problem in Internet Explorere and how it handles the Z layer property of select form controls.
