Question

Entering CF8 Serial Number

I have installed CF 8.01 on Server 2008. I installed as a 30 day trial to make sure the installation and some other configuration issues could be resolved. I figured I would enter the serial number at a later time.

Well, I cannot find anywhere on the administrator screen where I can enter the serial number that I have.

Where on the administrator does the serial number get entered? Or, pain of pain, do I have to do a complete reinstall? Surely not.

I have another problem. I've installed the trial version, while waiting for my upgrade license (CFMX6>CFMX8). But when I enter the upgrade license, it states the serial is invalid. Entering the previous serial number does not work either.
How can I register my upgrade to CMFX8 with an already installed trial version of CFMX8. Reinstalling is not really an option...

Click the i (System information) icon in the top right corner of the Administrator and enter it there.
