Error message when trying to execute Update 5 for Cold Fusion 2021

Hi,

 

I am trying to manually execute Update 5 for Cold Fusion 5.

 

I have stopped the ColdFusion2021 Application Server service.

 

I am trying to execute the following:

D:\ColdFusion2021\jre\bin>java.exe -jar D:\Hotfix\hotfix-005-330109.jar

 

I am receiving the following message after trying to the above command

The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

 

Does someone have an answer?

    Hello Mike,

     

    Please let us know if you have launched Command Prompt as Admin.

    Also, open task manager and check if any coldfusion processes are running

    I launched Command Prompt as Admin.

    Can you please copy the hotfix-005-330109.jar file to another location, run the update and let us know if you can apply the update?
