Question
Existing collection will is not recognized
I have a relatively new install of CF8 on linux. Within admin
a collection can be created and indexed. It shows the number of
files indexed. But I cannot optimize, purge or delete the
collection within admin. I get this message:
An error occurred while performing an operation in the Search Engine library.
"Error attempting to delete collection.: com.verity.api.administration.ConfigurationException: Failed to find configuration key. (-6005)"
I also cannot access the collection using the full path to the collection within cfsearch. The error mesage claims the collection does not exist per this error message:
" The collection you specified does not exists or is not registered with the ColdFusion Search Service."
Any ideas on this? Thanks.
