External Browser does not launch

I'm using ColdFusion Builder 9 on Mac.

When I run ColdFusion Application, external browser (Safari) does not launch.

I went to Adobe ColdFusion Builder>Preferenceces>Web Browser and made sure that 'use external web browser' and 'Default system Web browser' are selected.

In case, 'Default system Web Browser' is not working for some reason, I try to define a new external web browser (Chrome).

I enter the followings for the required fields:

Name: Chrome

Location: /Applications/Google Chrome.app

Parameters: -url http://localhost:8500/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm

When I hit OK, 'The location value is not a valid path name' dialog appears.

Any help would be appreciated

The search does not discover Chrome. You should manually enter the path to the browser executable which is /Applications/Google Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google Chrome

After figuring out what is wrong with my ColdFusion Builder Beta 3, I found out that none of the links on ColdFusion Administrator page inside ColdFusion Builder does not work. When I click a link, nothing happens.

I still need to fix this issue.

I went to Preferences>General>Web Browser and press "Restore Defaults", but that didn't do it.

    Any help?

I'm having the same issue in Flash Builder trying to set Chrome as the default browser.  Even if it's set as my OS default browser it still opens up firefox?  I'm also running on a mac.

I'm also having the same issue trying to setup Chrome as default browser for Flex Builder 4 (running Mac OS X, Leopard).

Will someone from Adobe please respond if this is a known bug or not?

    Thanks!
