Freeze top header row in HTML table like in Excel

Hi,

     I have some results pages that display info. in some large tables in my cold fusion pages. I was just wondering, is there a way I can freeze the header top row and scroll all the other rows, just like in an Excel file? Or would the only way to make that work correctly is by having frames?
