Hi!

I'm been giving the task to install a CF 9 setup with a frontend server and a backend server.

I normally don't work with CF, so i'm not quite sure if it even possible?

Our current setup consist of a few servers with a apache and CF installation.

Now we want to split up the Apache and the CF engine on each server, so only the Apache server have direct access to the WAN.

Could anyone give me any clues in which direction I should look. I can't seems to find anything in the installation documentation.

/Regards

Rune.

It sounds like you are trying to install ColdFusion in 'distributed mode'.  This is where the web server(s) are on different machine(s) then the ColdFusion server.

I have never done this, but I understand it is quite possible, and I see the options in the Web Server connector tool that allows this every time I use it.
