Gender/sex symbols

Yes, you can install additional fonts that have those symbols. One is called "Marvosym", and it has all kinds of other symbols in it as well. It would have to be registered as available to your CF server but should be usable after you've done that. I don't think most default fonts have those symbols included.

I don't use cfreport. Nevertheless, I found after a quick search that the cfreport documentation contains a section on how to add images. You could convert the symbols into images and add them to the report.
