Has anybody used fingerprint scanner for login?

Hi,

We have a time clock (time tracking) web application that I need to change the user authentication from a traditional username/password to a fingerprint scanner.

Has anybody done this before and is willing to share some insights?

We are willing to pay somebody too.

I've looked around and could not find a whole lot of information. I did try to jump into some Java SDKs for various devices, but my knowledge of Java is not the greatest.

Please let me know if you've done this before.
