Hi I have Windows 2003 server with CF11 installed. also I have SQL Sever 2005 on different server. I can not connect to SQL database it shows error 'Connection verification failed for data source: DBTest java.sql.SQLNonTransientConnectionException: [

Hi I have Windows 2003 server with CF11 installed. also I have SQL Sever 2005 on different server. I can not connect to SQL database it shows error 'Connection verification failed for data source: DBTest java.sql.SQLNonTransientConnectionException: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Conflicting connection information. When the instance name is specified, it is invalid to specify the port number. The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLNonTransientConnectionException: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Conflicting connection information.     Hi Prushka,

    Is SQL 2005 running as an instance?

    If so you might like to try connecting to it like pictured removing the port number details.
