HomeSite help pages for CF8 practically useless
The CF8 help files included in the
"ColdFusion
8 Update for HomeSite+" are so meagre they are practically
useless. take, for example, the page on the
parsedatetime function. Here is what the help files say:
Description
Parses a date/time string according to the English (U.S.) locale conventions. (To format a date/time string for other locales, use the LSParseDateTime function.)
Returns
A date/time object
Function syntax
ParseDateTime(date/time-string [, pop-conversion ] )
Compare that with the actual CF8 help page for parsedatetime. You will find that the page for Homesite is very meagre indeed.
I remember we even got the CF8 help files for Homesite only after a lot of pleas in these forums and elsewhere. Someone at Adobe is not doing their job properly.
