How does coldfusion prioritize mappings?

How does coldfusion prioritize mappings? for example if I have a flex app that has a remoteObject

<mx:RemoteObject id="myService" destination="ColdFusion" source="booking.booking"

CF has mappings that can find this component twice in different directories.
