How to access the CMS through Discussion Forum?

I am updating a site that was developed in CF. It's not live yet and I am trying to figure out how to access the CMS. The company that developed the site said that I can access the admin area through the discussion forum but I can't for the life of me figure out how to start updating. I am used to just logging into the ftp site and have never worked with a site developed in CF. Can someone please explain to me how I would go about finding the admin area by logging into the site's discussion forum? Thanks.

You're asking a question specific to the CMS vendor's software.  Without telling us what software it actually is.  So... um... kind of impossible to answer your question (even if there are people here who use whatever CMS it is).

You should direct your question to the CMS vendor.

They are not using a cms vendor software. The designer said that I can log in to the discussion forum, update and make changes that way.

My point was that whatever they are using, this is not a ColdFusion question, it's a question about whatever CMS it is that you're using.  ColdFusion is (loosely speaking) a programming language, and the CMS might be written in ColdFusion, but what you're doing here is akin to wanting to know where you put the keys to your house and walking into a building supplier and asking them to tell you.

    Make sense?
