How to Apply Hot Fix chf8010002

So the instructions for the Cumulative Hot Fix 2 for ColdFusion 8.0.1 (chf8010002) say to use the browse button in the coldfusion administrator's system information screen.  This requires RDS be turned on but none of our production servers have that.  I can't find any instructions for manually installing this hot fix, does anyone know how?  The actual archive has only a .jar file, no readme.  Thanks for any help.

    stop cf server service, copy the jar to your equivalent of c:\JRun4\servers\cfusion\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war\WEB-INF\cfusion\lib\updates re-start the cf server service.
