How to change existing template

Hi

We have BMS system for our internal use and it's have around 280 pages. I have to change it current template. I think this might be created in coldfusion beacuse it using index.cfm as a refernce for each page.

I don't know a single word in ColdFusion. If I create new template in DW and create all pages it will take too much time.

How can I change existing template to new look. how to edit existing template or make new one.

Thanks for your help

Can you post the ColdFusion code you are trying to edit?

I don't know where code is located. I am working from my regular PC. I have login access to intranet site to change that, but I don't know on which machine is this site loaded. There is 1 option which says Template, and in every pages it is defualt.

If I wnat to create new one rather than changing old one how can I do this.

    I donwload coldfusion 8 trail.

You should probably start by learning the basics of ColdFusion.  I recommend Ben Forta's "Adobe ColdFusion 8" series, assuming you are using version 8.  The tutorials at lynda.com as also supposed to be good.

Can you clarify what you mean by "There is 1 option which says Template, and in every pages it is defualt."  Is this a setting in DreamWeaver?  If so you may also want to post your question in a DW forum.
