How to implement "Quick view" feature

Hello,

I want to update my store and make it a little more "2.0".  One feature I would like to add is the "Quick View" feature for individual products.  My current store is powered by CF and would like a solution that would work with it.  I was hoping someone had experience with this and could point me in the right direction.  Thank you.  Below are some examples of the functionality.

    If you aren't averse to a little javascript and the jQuery library, I have had a lot of luck integrating thickbox with Coldfusion. Take a look: http://jquery.com/demo/thickbox/.
