How to install CF on Windows XP

Can any one help?

I am new to cold fusion. Tried to install CF 8 on my laptop windows XP . Not having any thing right.

Can some one explain how to install CF to start writing simple CF applications.

Everytime I have done it I have followed these steps.

1) Download installer.

2) Run installer.

There are some well known problems that can ocure during these lengthy steps. But since you gave no idea what problems you have experienced, I have little idea what to suggest.
