How to setup a managed site / connection to server

Question

anybody know where i can get more information setting up a 'managed site' in dreamweaver cs3 and how to configure cf server 8?

I'm under the impression that i can develop my scripts locally and via a managed site use the resources of a test cf server to view my scripts locally. I guess maybe i should ask that question first. Can this be done?

If you mean develop a local site using Dreamweaver and ColdFusion before publishing to a remote site. The answer is yes. You can download a free developer version of ColdFusion from Adobe. Installation is reasonably simple. If you get stuck, just get back to the forum. I'm sure someone would have step-by-step instructions.
