I'd like to angle the labels - say 45°. Horizontal "disappears" or overlaps - neither being acceptable, while "Vertical" is hard to read and takes more space.I have found "Horizontal" and "Vertical" work in the xml call style="myStyle" in CF10 and earlier, style="myStyle.xml" in CF 11, which referencesCFexe/cfusion/charting/styles/[myStyle].xml ...-<xAxis><labelStyle orientation="Vertical" isHideOverlapped="true"/><titleStyle isMultiline="false" font="Arial-12-bold"/></xAxis>...If I put a numeric in the orientation value assignment CF errors.

I've recently setup and configured a server farm running Windows Server 2012 and ColdFusion 10 Enterprise. I have a cluster created using named instances (not cfusion, though I find it curious that CF10 will allow you to cluster the cfusion instances now - but that presents problems - a different discussion later) anyhow.I began with Sticky Sessions enabled on the Cluster and it worked as expected, I then wanted to turn off Sticky Sessions so that the applications would enjoy a seemless failover. Unchecking the box on the Cluster manager, restarting IIS and CF, had no effect. Sticky was still, well, sticky. An examination of the cluster.xml revealed that the <stickysession> node was set to "false" but workers.properties still had sticky set to true, so I edited workers.properties, saved, restarted and voila the cluster was no longer sticky.Now here's where things get weird. I had a similar problem in this thread:  Finding the Oracle datasource... I have a CF 10 application interfacing with an Oracle 11g database; Windows Server 2012.   The original developers had different names for the datasources for Test (abcdTest) and Production (abcdProd).   I attempted to access Test after being on another project for quite a while and received the message that the datasource abcdProd could not be found... that is correct because I was logged into the Test machine.   I searched my source code and for some reason the datasource abcdProd was assigned in numerous places in the Application.cfc.   I changed all the references, cleared cache, restarted the browser and tried to login again.  Same error.  There are no references to abcdProd in the code base I am currently working with.   I have verified with the Gov't SysAdmin that CF Admin is set up correctly and my code should be pointing to abcdTest. &

I'm working on a clients system that has a library of CFC's in a folder called /Admin/cfcs.   Inside that folder is an Application.cfc file.There is also an Application.cfc file at the root directory.  Off the root directory are other folders in addition to the Admin folder.When I execute the template /Members/Index.cfm a few of the methods from the CFC library get executed.If there aren't any calls to the CFC library I'm 100% sure the Application.cfc in the root folder gets executed when I run any of the templates in any folder off  the  root folder.My question is if a template, such as /Members/Index.cfm, invokes a method from the CFC library does the Application.cfc template in the /Admin/cfcs folder get executed or is the root Application.cfc the one executed. I believe it's just the root one but I'm not 100% sure.  Any thoughts???  Does having an Application.cfc in the library folder cause any issues???Thanks in advance for the assist!

I was receiving an ORA-936 on an application I support (Oracle 11g, CF 11, Windows Server 2012).  The database went down yesterday, for a reason unknown to me, and when it came up, I am now getting this error message.  The only pointer to the .cfm file is the referrer.  I don't see how to fix this one.  What information can I include that will help you help me?  It seems like the more I learn, something new always comes up.   Here's the error page that was displayed.  I have not changed any declarations, that I know of.   Thank you. I'm creating a chart with two data series, one plotted as a bar graph, the other a line graph. I want to include the data value at the top of the bar graph, but exclude on the line graph. Documentation says the datalabelstyle attribute of cfchartseries identifies what to use for the series, but it seems to be entire chart, not by series. Code has: <cfchartseries type="line" datalabelstyle="none" ... <cfchartseries type="bar" datalabelstyle="value" ... but the value is included on both series. Whatever the last attribute has is what is used for the entire chart. Running CF 7.0.2.

Hello, all,I have kind of a weird jQuery issue going on, and I'm not sure what to make of it.The project that I'm working on (unfortunately, it's on a restricted site, so no one can access it) is a blog that allows comments and replies.From the main page, if a blog has any comments, there is a link at the bottom of the blog that allows the user to view the comment.  Clicking the link will expand a hidden div that contains the comment.If there is a reply to the comment, there is a text link ("More") that appears.  Clicking the "More" link will use AJaX to run a query on the database to get the reply.I have it set up so that when the link is clicked, a small spinner gif will appear to let the user know that the system is working in the background to get the reply.  Once the database returns the data, the spinner disappears and is replaced by the content.Here's the issue:  I'm using promise().done(function(){}); to make that happen, which is supposed to wait until the

This is a problem that has me banging my head on my desk. We have a web application that still uses Flash based web forms. (Before anyone says it, I know we need to get away from the flash forms, but we cannot do this overnight.) The problem is that because IE11 no longer passes MSIE in the USER AGENT string, ColdFusion is placing an <Embed> tag instead of an <Object> tag to load the flash. I know that we could add our site to the Compatibility List, however we have too many users to guide this through. We need a solution that we can perform on our side, either modifying code, ColdFusion, or IIS. First has anyone else run into this problem? Hello, all,My environment is Apache 2.4 on a Windows Server with CF10.  The production environment uses CACs (Common Access Card) as logins, and we have set Apache and CF so that a user's information can be accessed via CGI variables set from the CAC login.  However, we never had a need for access to a user's email address, until now.  (Things like user first/last name, and other things, are easily available, as of this writing.)I did some research, and found that if we added jkvar SSL_CLIENT_S_DN_Email to the "mod_jk.conf" file and restarted the Apache service, we _should_ be able to access a user's email address from their CAC.  However, whenever I try to use this in the application, it is coming back as undefined.Is there something else that we need to do in order to have access to the SSL_CLIENT_S_DN_Email value on a user's CAC?  Something in either Apache or CFAdmin?V/r,^_^

Hi,For some reason our CF10 application (production) is showing this error in the CF log -Error Executing Database Query.[Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Unhandled token type: Unknown token: 0x38User is getting 500-internal server error from the UI.We are using SQL Server 2008R2.This is happening only in our production environment and nothing has been changed with regards to the application files.  Our DEV and Test environment are working fine.  I checked the CF admin settings and could not find any difference from the other environment.  It seems that the web server has changed over the weekend but I'm not sure..Has someone encountered this error before?  Anyone has a solution?Thanks.

I'm playing around with GetMetaData to do a little introspection of my CFC's when I ran into an anomaly I don't understand. My CFC has multiple functions embedded within it.  One of these functions is defined as follows:<cffunction name="getMyDenied" access="public" returntype="query">  <cfargument name="userid" type="string" required="yes">  <cfargument name="environment" type="string" required="no" default="0" hint="Pass in 0 for Development and 1 for Production">...</CFFUNCTION>When I exam the CFC using GetMetaData I get this output for the getMyDenied function:The thing that confuses me is why the HINT parameter is showing up in the userid argument.  The weird thing about this is if I exam the HINT parameter using #Len(TRIM(CFC_Functions.functions[cc].Parameters[1].Hint))# I get the number 6. If I copy the value into a new array or structure and then CFDUMP the results it shows up as an "Empty String".Then in the same CFC I also have this

Got a pretty simple menu shown below.  It all works fine but there is one weird issue I could use a little help with.Turn out if run this code in Chrome I don't have any issues but if I run it in Internet Explorer 11 there is a bit of a problem.  The problem is the closing angle bracket  ">", that represents there are submenus, gets displayed in the middle of the text string in Internet Exploder but is displayed to the right of the text string in Chrome.      This picture is what I see in Chrome AND IF I remove the menu from a table structure.     The following is what I see if I have the menu in a table AND it's displayed in Internet Explorer 11. The bracket is in white which makes it hard to see but it's still there.It only happens on the cfmenuitem that indicates it is a submenu with further submenus, as depicted in line 8 of the snippet below. HelloI have a logout that doesn't seem to want to work for Coldfusion 10. I have a log in system for an admin area, I want to allow the user to log out of it and delete the session they are using.
