I have a scheduled task registered in ColdFusion 11 Admin console. ColdFusion 11 is hosted over IIS 7.5. The schedule task is to run 1 perticular file from sub application of the main app. After upgrading application from ColdFusion 9 to ColdFusion 11, scheduled task stopped working.Note that, on IIS, main App has "Anonymous Authentication - Disabled" and "Windows Authentication - Enabled" ...While for sub app (which is being called by scheduled task) has "Anonymous Authentication - Enabled" and "Windows Authentication - Disabled".Moreover, when I try to run the scheduled task manually, it shows "Authentication falure" error in log file asHTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized You are not authorized to view this page due to invalid authentication headers.Any help would be greatly appriciated.Thank you.

Is there any way to Email an Email Attachment for Cold Fusion to Manipulate.Sort of like <cffile action = "upload"> however user is emailing the file into the Cold Fusion Server.The reason for this:Now we  have an app  that reads data on users smart phones and the user emails the file to themselves.However now we have found in some cases we need to do some basic manipulation that Cold Fusion could easily do to clean up the data.So user would email attachment of data to our server and then server would do clean up and email cleaned file to user.If there is nothing in CF to do this, any other language?Thanks

Where do I even start...Scenario: I am the senior architect of multiple corporate .Net solutions.  Recently I decided to introduce ColdFusion11 to serve as a job server for background tasks (Scheduled ETL, Email Provider, Ad Hoc PDF generation and whatever other tasks we may wish to offload in a separate thread.) While I must admit, I stopped doing ColdFusion development some years ago; however, this does not negate the fact that I was an early adopter of ColdFusion and have well over 10 years of seasoned "in the trenches" experience with the language from the Alliare days, through the Macromedia days and into the Adobe days. Truth is - I have been a huge advocate of ColdFusion and implemented it many large corporations. Having said that -- I figured implementing a ColdFusion stack would be a cinch given my background. Hello,I have several websites that I'm working on, and each one needs it's own development environment located on my own computer. At the moment my web root is located at: http://127.0.0.1:8500/. The problem is now that I have several subfolders underneath this web root, each one of them representing a separate website. I like referencing my images, stylesheets, javascript, and links as links that are relative the root URL, like this "/images/myimage.jpg". The problem is that now with multiple websites stored on my computer, the links don't point to my subfolders /company1, /company2, etc. Instead they point to the root itself, which doesn't work.I was able to fix this by going into the following file and updating some code:C:\ColdFusion11\cfusion\runtime\conf\server.xmlI uncommented this line of code and added the web root of my choice;<Context path="/" docBase="<cf_home>\wwwroot" WorkDir="<cf_home>\runtime\conf\Catalina\localhost\tmp" ></Context> This works gr

Hello, all,I'm using a hidden iFrame that loads a page using CFCONTENT and CFHEADER to stream an Excel file from a form submit.  I'm _trying_ to use JavaScript to change the value of the button element that submits the form in the parent page. I'm not seeing any success.  Does Javascript still run when a page uses CFCONTENT and CFHEADER? I can't even get a simple JS alert() to work.V/r,^_^

I ran into a problem with my ColdFusion 11 64-bit installation/migration on a Windows Server 2012 R2/IIS 8.5.  I was following the ColdFusion 11 Lockdown Guide - Pete Freitag (very helpful) and I ran into problems on page 35 "Run the ColdFusion Web Server Configuration Tool".  When I attempted to do this for ALL IIS websites I encountered a Windows error [APPCRASH - Exception Code:c0000005].  Also, note my Administrator-Command Prompt window provided this error message "Error while configuring connector for IIS. Make sure you have administrator privileges".  However, I did not experience this error with all of the migrated sites.  I traced my steps backward to discover the problem.  I used the Microsoft Web Deployment tool (good tool) to migrate the old IIS websites to the new IIS.  I utilized Metabase Explorer the IIS 6.0 Resource Tools to discover that some of the migrated sites that were crashing did not have the key/value ID:6006 | Name: DefaultDo

Hi,this has probably been asked many many times but i cant seem to find a solution.Environment: CF11 CFH6 (but admin says its not installed..)Windows server 2012 R216GB RamIntel Xeon E3 3.1Ghz 64bitIssue: All cache features in CF admin are disabled.I dont like this but my issue is concerning the cache.I have a custom CMS, the content is served via the VFS (ram://) drive, its stored in a DB and if the file does not exist we create it in the VFS and its included into the index.cfm.anyway, when a change is made to this type of content, the changes are not visible. I can restart the application which clears out the VFS, i can add white space to the end of the file and a few other tricks to trick CF into thinking the file has changes so that it will reload it but nothing works.The only way to fix is to log into the CF admin console and click the clear template cache button. Again the Trusted Cache is disabled.This is the first issue.The second is when i attempt to call the admin API to clea

Hi everyone,Ive got a very strange issue with my AWS Instance of CF 11. Its using the AMI provided on Amazon and has had nothing but problems since I subscribed to it. It all started with it being provisioned with a developer license and being charged for enterprise by mistake.Anyhow, my issue is rather strange in that I have an M3 Large instance, with an application Ive had running quite successfully using Hostek. No real major issues to report whilst hosting with Hostek, but the only difference is the Hostek instance is a single instance with MSSQL and CF10 all on the one box.With my AWS instance, I have CF 11, and MSSQL via an RDS. Everytime I run a page with a few queries on it, the CPU within the Task manager spikes up to 90 - 100%. I run the exact same page via my Hostek account or via my local vmWare development environment and I get 3%.The main difference here is that SQL is served via RDS and I cant seem to find any reason why my production machine cant handle any thing.The CP

I updated a test server from ColdFusion 10 to ColdFusion 11 30 days Enterprise trail edition with update 7.However, every time I hit refresh in my browsers, I get a new cfid. This is really strange.I got a message from xssposed.org that my website is vulnerable to cross site scripting. I also maintain a few websites on a server that is running coldfusion 10 enterprise, so I tried it there also and the same thing happens.If I replace type = "integer" with type - "any" it doesn't happen.  Does this happen on the current version of coldfusion?  The admin option for "enable global script protect" is enabled

Anyone successfully installed CF11 (or any other version) on a Windows 10 machine?I installed IIS, ISAPI Extensions, ASP.NET, and CGI.  The CF11 installer seemed to run well, and got to the point where it would normally launch CF Admin and came up with a 404 error.  I ran the Web Server Configuration Tool, and it pops up a warning box that says "Version 10.0 installed. Supported versions are 4.x, 5.x, 6.x, 7.x, 8.x" after I chose all IIS sites. Also, there isn't a numbered folder under c:\ColdFusion11\config\wsconfig\ like there should be, so there are no Handler Mappings for CF file extensions in IIS.You'd think Adobe would be all over this as many developers will be switching to Windows 10 soon.

I am trying to connect to an FTP server using port 990 (FTP using SSL).  From what I can tell, cfftp does not support FTPS - it only supports SFTP.  We have been doing using ftp4j and this has worked for us in the past.  See ColdFusion and FTP over implicit TLS/SSL :: Aliaspooryorik Musings.However, the client has installed a new ftp server, and we can no longer drop more than a zero byte file.  In a manual test using FireFTP, we get the same error of "TLS session of data connection has not resumed or the session does not match the control connection".  A test using Filezilla client works however.  From what I can tell, this is because of needing to enforce TLS session resumption and the Filezilla client does this..Has anyone dealt with and solved this in Coldfusion?

An exception occurred when instantiating a COM object.The cause of this exception was that: AutomationException: 0x80040154 - Class not registered.I get this error when trying to use an old 32bit  .dll.My company has moved from CFMX on Win 2003 to CF10 (64Bit) on Win2008 R2 (64bit). Is there something I can do to get this to work? The .dll has been registered in windows.

I'm just starting with Webtrends and have a task to show Webtrends data in a web page portal. What I envision is a HTML div with graphs. Of course, my site is ColdFusion based. Does anyone have suggestions or guidance on how to accomplish this? We're currently running Webtrends version 8.7, but are preparing to upgrade to version 10.

I have just had to rebuild my server and I am trying to get coldfusion reconfigured and I did not configure it the first time.  I have loaded coldfusion 10 on the c:/drive and all my data is on the d:/drive and I cannot get coldfusion to see the data.  What do I need to do?

Postgres doesn't have the USE directive, unlike SQL Server or MySQL. There is the \c <database> command, but that only works in the psql REPL. Is there an alternative to USE that can be used with cfquery in Postgres? We would be using this with CF 11.
