Recently installed CF11 on a Windows 2012R2 server running IIS 8.5. There are currently 9 sites configured in IIS, all under separate application pools.Several times a day, for reasons I have not yet determined, requests for CF pages under any one of the sites are returned very slowly (>10 seconds). Typically, they are returned in <500 ms. Recycling the application pool (or pools) appears to address this issue, which made me think the issue was with IIS. Can ColdFusion developer edition or ColdFusion builder be installed and run on Windows 10?

Hello,I'm generating a normal spreadsheet file and formatting a couple of columns with SpreadsheetFormatColumn, to give them a particular date format. If I open the file through OpenOffice, everything works perfectly. However, if I open it through Excel, any cell in the formatted column past the 32nd row does not display the proper format (Cell is displayed as "general") and I need to do it manually.What could be causing this?

Hi. I have an If statement to see if N/A or NA is in a text box. If it is, I don't want to send an automated email I have set up. This works great if only N/A or NA is in the text box, but what if someone writes something like "N/A This component does not work for this part." How do I test this if the text box starts with N/A or NA and has text after it still? Say someone built an intranet in Cold Fusion (version unknown) and I do not have access to that person nor Cold Fusion but I need to be able to make changes in the intranet system via a new Cold Fusion. I have several licenses for ColdFusion Builder 1 and I also have upgrade licenses for ColdFusion Builder 2.  I have a new team member who needs to download ColdFusion Builder 2 to make use of this license. Now that ColdFusion Builder 3 is release, all of the downloads links I have been able to find point to the new version. Where can I find a download link for the previous version for which I have a valid license?  Surely there is an archive download somewhere, but I cannot find it.Thanks,Eric

However, as you can see, the items are duplicated in the list, with both selected items and the available option values both showing. Hi,  I am having a problem formating an Excel file with multiple sheets using cfspreadsheet.   I created the excel file from an XML string using POI. Things work perfect till here.   To format the sheets, I am reading each sheet into a different cfspreadsheet object, formating them and then trying to create a new Excel file. <cfspreadsheet action="write" filename="#ExpandPath('./final_report.xls')#" name="spreadsheetObj1" overwrite=true> <cfspreadsheet action="update" filename="#ExpandPath('./final_report.xls')#" name="spreadsheetObj2"> This is where the problem arises. When I do <cfspreadsheet action="write">  the excel file "final_report.xls" should be created with only  "Sheet1" having the formated content. But in my case it also writes "Sheet2" in the unformatted form. I'm developing with CF11 on a Mac, which doesn't support having a local PDF Service to use with the new tag. But, I'm able to set up a PDF service that points to our dev (Windows) server. That service verifies via the admin.However, when I try to do a simple test: <cfhtmltopdf>     Hello </cfhtmltopdf> I get an error of "Error occurred while generating PDF" with the error detail of "Reason: FILE NOT FOUND". If we try this code directly on the dev server (so it's using the local PDF service), it works just fine.Anyone have an idea of what file it's referring to or what else may be going on?

Hi. I would like to use the Trim Function in a text box on my Add page when I insert something into our database. I just want to make sure that when users type a part number into this text box, they don't accidentally type in a space before or after the part number. Here's what my text box looks like:<input type="text" name="Part_Number" id="Part_Number" maxlength="25" size="27" disabled="disabled">I know how to use the Trim Function on an edit page, but not on an add page. Here's how I use it on an Edit page:<input type="text" name="Part_Number" value="#Trim(Part_Number)#" maxlength="25" size="27">This works because I have a value in the Part_Number field already, but how do I use this when I don't have a value entered into the database yet? Hello, all,I've got three forms that are submitting form data via AJaX to a CFC and it's working GREAT!I've got ONE form that I'm trying to do the same thing, but FireBug is returning a 404 error.  I've checked the http path, and it is correct.  But the AJaX function that is submitting the data keeps erroring with a 404.Any thoughts on what might prevent AJaX from finding one CFC, but not the other?V/r,^_^

I am trying to build a mobile application using CF11 and CFBuilder 3.  I have been trying all sorts of tuturials, examples, etc, but I can not get the geolocation or the camera to work at all.  I am using the latest version of iOS (8.4) and I am thinking it might have something to do with an older version of phonegap?  Is anyone having success with this?  The features look very cool, but so far.  Can't get a darn thing to work in it.  Any advice would be wonderful.Just a quick note, I am adding permissions to use camera and geolocation in the PhoneGap properties of the project.  So it is active.Thank you.

Hello, all,About six months ago, I started playing around with Ubuntu Server (14.04 Trusty Tahr), apache (2.4.7), and CF Server 11 on a home network; just for playing around with.  I broke it a few times (thankfully in a VM, so trashing it and starting over or using backups helped), but I finally got it working.However, when I originally set it up, I had it set so that there were no virtual hosts, and everything was being served from /var/www/html directory.Now, I'm trying to change that.  I've followed instructions on how to set up virtual hosting on apache, and am now setting up two accounts (so pages will be served from /home/usera/public_html and /home/userb/public_html), which brings me to my question.Do I need to do anything in CFAdmin for these virtual hosts?  Or will CF Server use the apache configurations to provide server-side scripting automatically to the virtual hosts?  I did test one virtual host with an index.html file, and it works.  I should tr
