Estou rodando uma procedure meio lenta que gera um relatório, ou seja ela retorna vários valores, e está estourando um erro de timeout: The request has exceeded the allowable time limit Tag: CFSTOREDPROCJá tentei utilizar <cfsetting RequestTimeOut='100000' > na página mas infelizmente não funcionou.Como estou utilizando a versão 7 do Coldfusion a tag timeout ainda não funciona para a cfstoredproc. Acredito que isso só funciona na versão 10.Minha pergunta é, o que fazer??? Além de tentar otimizar a procedure, tenho mais alguma opção/alternativa/solução ?

Hi. Is there a way to set timeout for the tag <CFSTOREDPROC>? I mean, for cfquery, it has a parameter timeout in seconds. How about for CFSTOREDPROC? I tried using <cfset startproc = GetTickCount()> <cfsetting requesttimeout = "20" /> <CFSTOREDPROC PROCEDURE="fsdfsd" DATASOURCE="sfsds"> cfprorparams here......... </CFSTOREDPROC> <cfset proc_execute = GetTickCount() - startproc > proc_execute returns about 30,000 ms which is 30 s. But the timeout needs to end it in 20 s. It seems requesttimeout doesn't include the time it took for the stored procedure executing. That is why I'm looking for a timeout in cfstoredproc. Any suggestions? I don't wanna go to the Oracle server and set the timeout settings. I want it done in Coldfusion. Thanks.

I have installed CF9 with many files deployed on my server, now I need to migrate to version 11 as I do not have Enterprise Edition I can't do the migration through CAR files. I wonder if there is another method to migrate files and settings from the server. or if the syntax changes that between these versions.

Hi everyone. My company would like to set up  a 2 page site with an online order form to purchase a product we are selling. We would like to accept credit cards on here. I know there are sites out there that we can download the script for a shopping cart, but I don't think our server is up to date for the requirements of what these plugins need to work and we don't want to have to pay for a hosting plan. So we were just going to set up 2 simple pages for the customer to choose what they want and a price would go into a shopping cart form where they could enter their credit card information. This page would be an HTTPS page. I'm just wondering if I create a page that is secured this way, is it secure or not? Or do I need to go through one of those web sites that has a shopping cart built already so it's more secure? We were not going to insert this info. into a database. I have some Ajax stuff that will just error from time to time due to database timeouts, etc. I need to turn off the dialog that comes up that says there was an error and to turn on debugging. It just freaks end users out... It would be nice if such errors were just reported in firebug with no "Click OK" popup dialog!  Maybe a try/catch is in order??

We recently upgraded to CF11 from CF9 and have ran into a challenge. I understand this is probably very fundamental but I am at a loss to figure it out because our cart worked so well for years before. I pass a url variable to the cart containing the sku number and it populates my preorder table with a quantity of one unless I also pass the quantity variable in the same string at which I use if isdefined to detect. My cart works but upon page refresh or if the back button is hit, it will increment one to the quantity field. Can someone tell me the way to eliminate this issue? In the address box of the old cart we hid the variable in the url string when passing the call to the cart but the same code not with CF11 does indeed show the variable(sku) in the url which is passed causing the cart to update. Looking for help here please?Thanks

Recently installed CF11 on a Windows 2012R2 server running IIS 8.5. There are currently 9 sites configured in IIS, all under separate application pools.Several times a day, for reasons I have not yet determined, requests for CF pages under any one of the sites are returned very slowly (>10 seconds). Typically, they are returned in <500 ms. Recycling the application pool (or pools) appears to address this issue, which made me think the issue was with IIS. Hello,I'm generating a normal spreadsheet file and formatting a couple of columns with SpreadsheetFormatColumn, to give them a particular date format. If I open the file through OpenOffice, everything works perfectly. However, if I open it through Excel, any cell in the formatted column past the 32nd row does not display the proper format (Cell is displayed as "general") and I need to do it manually.What could be causing this?

Hi. I have an If statement to see if N/A or NA is in a text box. If it is, I don't want to send an automated email I have set up. This works great if only N/A or NA is in the text box, but what if someone writes something like "N/A This component does not work for this part." How do I test this if the text box starts with N/A or NA and has text after it still?
