I recently installed ColdFusion Enterprise 10 and set up 3 instances on the same server and then set up multi server monitoring for my three instances. The problem is logging into one CF admin on one port logs you out of the other. This appears to be affecting the multiserver monitor as well making it utterly useless. From the overview dashboard you can see the servers logging in and out repeatedly. Is this is a bug or is there something obvious here I'm missing?
Can´t believe it!!!I have two laps one Mac runnig CF10 dvlp ed. the other one its the same in Win7.So, I started a prj in Mac and run it, so far so good (css loaded, png loaded, jQuery start dvlp)even FireB data loaded. Then copy import the prj in Win 7 to work in home and...Surprise Apache Tomcat resources not found... How is this POSSIBLE!!!I start with CF 9 in ISS (make to do the right things run its a nail in the mouth but it worth it)then CF10 appears and I said"This is really a love at first sight"But NOW! its really dissapointing. How fix this? I have readed all I find about it butfinally I cant believe it...Its not hardware issue, both CF10 are up to date (17/07/2013) so I´m little tiredof the struggle with CF and Windows...I just want to know how is this possible...
We are running ColdFusion 10,282462 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) server. There are several updates waiting to be downloaded and installed. Before I can install these updates I need to download and install a manditory update. I have downloaded the manditory update, but I am not sure where on our server that I need to copy the files included in the cf10_mdt_updt folder which I downloaded from your website. Where do I copy the downloaded files to on our server?

I had a battle with this, I've googled and seen more than 100 results and have not found the solution.I installed many times "Coldfusion", in different ways, in different distributions of linux and can not find the solution to the much hated "flex2gateway", tryig so many fixes but none worked for me, I keep getting the 404.System details: Debian Wheezy (7.0), Coldfusion 10, Apache 2.2.22I hope someone can help me.
Coldfusion 8I inherited an application and am trying to maintain and improve it... hit a snag today.I have a multi-select box that is not displaying what I expect. I am using coldfusion 10. cfmenu not working. Error is 'this.body.firstChild' is null or not an object in menu-min.js file.Error in line oNode=this.body.firstChild.Any body faced same issue? What is the fix of this error.

I recently moved a Cold Fusion site from an older 2003 box to a new 2008 64 bit box. I used Web Deploy to move the site after installing Cold Fusion. The same version that was on the 03 box. Cold Fusion 8. So far all aspects of the site have worked fine except for today when users tried to do a upload. They get this error. Attribute validation error for CFFILEThe value of the attribute destination which is currently " pointing to a folder on a server" is invalidI compared the file it specifies between the 2 servers and it's the same. Is this because of the 2003 to 2008 change? I compared CF setting on both servers and they match up. Where do I beging to troubleshoot this? I had to hook up the old server to get the site working properly for the users. I know nothing of CF. This site was developed by a Consultant that is no longer available to us.Thanks for any help
Hi, I am getting the error message "Element cause is undefined in a Java object of type class coldfusion.xml.rpc.ServiceProxy$ServiceInvocationException" while calling the LoadReport() to load the report rdl file in coldfusion 10 through web service.It is working fine when i am using the sql 2008 report server but it is giving the above error in 2005 sql server in client's staging server.Below is the piece of code where exactly i am facing the issue:var execInfo = webServiceObj.loadReport(javacast('string','ReportName'),javacast("null",""),trustedUserHeader);Thanks in advance.
We have a new Coldfusion 10 server that becomes unresponsive .
As funding is an issue, my hosting space is currently CF 6, and am stuck with this version for about another year, so I must make the best of it. I have a big challenge with CFLOGIN. My goal is to have family members sign into the family site, and have their navigation to go from page to page. I am baffled as to how to implement cookies, with a backup database to hold their login data, in case their machine is set to not allow cookies. I've got a lot of people waiting for me to accomplish this! The code here, is not CFLOGIN, but the book says it will!Right now, the table in the database is named permissions, and the two fields are un and pw.I am typing from the Inside Coldfusion MX book, by John Cummings. I looked at another book, by Ben Nadel, and typed his code verbatum also. I triple-checked every character, and things are not working with either code sets. CFINPUT TYPE="Submit" is not working. The error message reads:Attribute validation error for tag CFINPUT.The value of the attribute TYPE, which is currently "submit", must be one of the values: RADIO,CHECKBOX,PASSWORD,TEXT.I'm using MX. Does this attribute not exist?

I am trying to determine if Cold Fusion is installed on 2500 computers. I don't know anything about the product, and noticed that it can be installed as a Java application. Does the Cold Fusion service get installed for this option as well? My plan is to check services with a script and if the Cold Fusion service exists, flag the server as having it installed. I just don't want to miss any using this method.
I have a .net DLL, when using cfobject it only pulls through two of four methods. Hi All, can you kindly provide us some insights on 9.0.1 to 9.0.2 upgradation? Any official guide for it? This may sound lame, apology for this. But we are going to implement it in production and have no knowledge in CF.So asking for your expert help.Also to give a background, we have an application written in codlfusion.It is CF 9.0.1. It somehow failed the security vulnerability test and the recommendation came as the above. Please let us know if any additional patching/hotfixes will also help resolving/mitigating the security issue

I did a test installation update to CF9.0.1 + CHF4 and then updated the wsconfig.jar on the remote IIS 6 web servers, running 32-bit application pools. The IIS connections to the remote backend ColdFusion servers failed; I fell back to the older wsconfig.jarThe wsconfig.jar that is updated with the ColdFusion 9 Update 1 does not work with our IIS6 web 32-bit app pools; the older wsconfig.jar [JRun 4.0 (Build 108795) JRun ISAPI Extension - Aug 29 2009 11:51:27] DOES work with the 32-bit application pools.Question: can I safely run the older wsconfig.jar on the IIS 6 32-bit application pools [JRun 4.0 (Build 108795) JRun ISAPI Extension - Aug 29 2009 11:51:27] with CF 9.0.1 + CHF4?We are running in distributed mode.Thanks,Scott
