Install CF 9 war on jrun 4 installed with CF 8

I have CF 8 ENT with a lot web application instance. For a new site I would like to use CF 9 ENT. Can I deploy the CF 9 war on the Jrun 4 that I installed with the CF 8? Are there any difference between Jrun 4 that comes with CF 8 and Jrun 4 in CF 9?

    You can deploy a CF 9 WAR/EAR on the JRun that comes with CF 8. You will be missing a few JRun patches, but it will work.
