Install ColdFusion without a browser

Hi, 

 

Our IT department removed our browser on our ColdFusion server. Is it still possible to migrate CF 2018 to CF 2023 without a browser on the app server? Our IT team told us to "remote in." Is that possible?

      This isn't a great place to request support from Adobe. The product team tries to respond to requests when they can, but there aren't any guarantees.

       

      There is a command-line installer for modern versions of CF. I don't know how well that works with migrations. But search for "command line install ColdFusion" and see what comes up.

      Oh, also, you'll need remote shell access via ssh or RDP to install ColdFusion.
