Installing Verity

Hi Folks,

I have CF 7 installed on my server, I'd like to install Verity on the same server, can someone tell me how to do this?

Is the installer in the main CF disk somewhere? I cant seem to find it.

I have the CF MX 7 Search Server service installed and running, but no collections appear in the administrator.

Any help much appreciated.

    I did solve this yes.

    The only way was to reinstall verity.

    by running:

    CFusionMX7\verity\verity-unistall.bat
    and
    CFusionMX7\verity\verity-install.bat

    Thanks for your reply.

    I get the error:

    Unable to retrieve collections from the Search Service.
    Please verify that the ColdFusion MX Search Server is installed and running.

    There isn't an option to add a collection and the 'Coldfusion MX 7 search server' is definately started and running in services.

    I can't see the Verity K2 menu option, under 'Data and services' either, can you tell me where abouts it is in CF admin? or how to install/ start it?

    Any help much appreciated, I cannot find any solutions on the web.

    What happens if you try to add a collection?

    If the search service is installed and running,then Verity is installed. You might want to check under the Verity K2 menu option to make sure local host is selected for the server.
