Question

Intergrating PayPal membership with CF

I have looked over the PayPal membership service and signed up. Does anyone
know a good source to integrate the 'membership' service into a web site
without having to go the PayPal web site to process the cc?

I would like to keep the who process inside my own web site and just let
PayPal handle the processing and reoccurring billing.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Just as a note, it sounds like you want the subscription portion of PayPal. This doesn't need Pro, but if you want your customers to NOT see PayPal then you have to have Pro. Which can be a pain to set up but not too hard to use once you have it up and running on the server.

Does anybody know if the Pro allows for reoccurring billing features to
manage a membership web site and, if so, how to do that?

You need to signup for the PayPal Pro service to be able to process transactions without sending the user to paypal. Then they can give you access to their API, which uses SOAP web services.

I think there are some products (cfc's or cfx tags) that will make the web services calls a bit easier.

Actually, if anyone has some spare time and would like to attempt this,
please contact me with a estimate / price. wkolcz@thoughtbank.org.

I will send you more details on what I am looking for and my payment pages
to see if it can be integrated.
