Java Servlets with ColdFusion

I understand that CFMX Enterprise Edition and Developer edition allow for the deployment of Java Servlets and JSP's. Does this mean that if a web hosting company is running Standard Edition, that I will not be able to include Java Servlets and JSP's with a cold fusion website if I use this company?

Thanks for your reply. I don't know any ColdFusion code. I would like to deploy a Java Servlet, but I'm assuming by your post that this is not possible with the Standard edition.

I know that most ColdFusion hosting companies will review a CFX or Java Custom Tag for you and decide if it's appropriate to install on their server. You might consider building a custom tag to accomplish your task instead of using servlets.

While functionality may differ between Editions, every edition of Coldfusion MX is essentially a J2EE application. However, I believe it is mainly for commercial interest that Macromedia/Adobe has restricted JSP, EJB and Servlet functionality to just the Enterprise Edition. Some references that show the capabilities per Edition
