www.easycfm.com has some entry level tutorials.

If SAMS Publishing has a book called Teach Yourself ColdFusion in x TimeUnits, it's probably pretty good.

If you don't know data modelling, and intend to write your own databases, learn it.

i'm having trouble remembering all the codes for functions etc. say i know there is #Dateformat# but forgot the rest, is it ok to just look it up?
