We ar planning a move to a new hosting service.

At the current host we have two licenses for ColdFusion 8 Enterprise.

We plan on taking around 30 days to migrate the 200 or so web sites on the old servers to the new servers and then decommision the old servers.

Can we temporarily use the same licenses on the new servers as the old servers?

Technically no.  And if you don't want to risk the chance that the Adobe spirts will somehow descend on you in that interim period... The trial edition of a ColdFusion server is a fully functioning server for the first 30 days....

The Trial Edition contains all of the Enterprise Edition features and will timeout after 30 days from the time you install the product. After the timeout period, the Trial Edition will revert to the Developer Edition.

Inputting a vaild license key will immediately turn any Trial or Developer Edition into a production server.

At which point, I presume, I can use the existing keys if the old servers have been decommissioned?

Sure, license keys are easily transferable.
