I have 7 licenses for CFMX 8. All of them share the same serial number. Is that right? I don't remember sharing the same serial number before on multiple licenses.

That is the way our CF8 license works as well. Somewhere or the other I
remember seeing something that indicated how many servers we could have
installed with that license number.
