Logging CFMail usage

Running ColdFusion 7.0.2 Enterprise, I have not had any luck with the CFMail logging options.

In particular, I have selected "Log all mail messages sent by ColdFusion" but it doesn't seem to work. I have checked the default CF log folder as well as the folder I specified under logging configuration, but there is no log of the mail sent.

The logging worked fine on our previous servers running CF 7.0.1. Any ideas? Does this feature work correctly for other people, or is it just me?

    After doing some more tests, I discovered that I can get the mail to be logged normally by configuring ColdFusion to use the default log location.

    But, if I try to use a log directory on a different disk, the mail is not logged, and there is some other incorrect logging behavior such as logs cannot be displayed in CF Admin and "Maximum File Size" does not work.
