Mod_jk configuration files

I installed fresh version of CF2021 on Centos 7 to do some testing. I also installed mod_jk connector

sudo ./wsconfig -ws Apache -bin /usr/sbin/httpd -script /usr/sbin/apachectl -dir /etc/httpd/conf/ -v

I noticed this file that was created: 

mod_jk_vhost.conf

I have not see that before for some reason, is this file purpose just to organize/separate 

mod_jk.conf

options or does it have some other purpose?

In another words, do I have to use it in CF2021 Update 12?
